Ms. Nakyeyune is currently persuing her PhD on the REDD+ project with a Research Topic of "Biomass Energy Technologies as a Pathway to Climate Change Mitigation and Enhanced Human Wellbeing in Uganda: Current status and future opportunities".

Ms. Nakyeyune is answering a Research Question of "What is the actual and potential impact of improved and modern BETs in combating climate change and improving human well-being?" and supervised by Assoc. Professor David Tumusiime
